This was a big week for us! My big girl started Kindergarten on Tuesday and my little man started VPK on Monday. It was so fun getting them up and ready for school, back packs on, new shoes and clothes and then seeing the excitement on their faces for all of the adventures ahead. For Mason, he “officially” started VPK at the daycare where he has gone for a couple of years but he has now moved into a different classroom and is excited to learn to write his name. Morgan went off to Elementary School, so she’s having a lot of firsts this week. It’s her 1st time EVER being away from her brother for more than a couple of hours, (that’s huge for her), her 1st time in a big school where she has to rotate around for music, PE, and lunch, and her 1st time riding a school bus after school. All of these were so exciting to her and she has adjusted incredibly well. This week was a staggered start, so she went to daycare after school but next week the fun really begins. She starts dance and gymnastics after school!! She’s so excited, and I think I’m almost as excited as she is. 🙂
