If you’re like me, you like to plan your meals at least a couple of day in advance. I start with a couple of ingredients like lunch meat or ground beef and then figure out which direction I want to go. For example, this week I chose bacon, egg and cheese rollups for breakfast, pinwheels for lunch and beef and shrimp fajitas for dinner. All were made using Flatout® Flatbread. By figuring out my menu ahead of time, I can make sure that I am staying on track. I go by the motto, “Failure to plan, is planning to fail”.
Here are just a few of the great Weight Watchers® options available at Walmart:
Arnold® Sandwich Thins rolls endorsed by Weight Watchers®
Brownberry® Sandwich Thins rolls endorsed by Weight Watchers®
Oroweat® Sandwich Thins rolls endorsed by Weight Watchers®
Sandwich thins are an excellent source of fiber and have multiple flavor varieties available: Whole Wheat, Honey Wheat, Flax & Fiber and Multigrain. I chose these Arnold Sandwich Thins and they are quite tasty. Great for lunch or breakfast and only 3 SmartPoints® value per roll. I love these with tuna salad or a delicious walnut chicken salad but they would also make a fabulous breakfast sandwich to get your day started off right.
Weight Watchers® Ice Cream Novelties
All weight watchers ice cream novelties are individually wrapped items offer portion control. Made from low-fat milk, so they have lower SmartPoints® value per serving than regular ice cream and other “frozen novelties”. These tasty treats are all under 100 calories with just 2-4 SmartPoints® value per serving. I bought the English Toffee Crunch Bars and the Giant Fudge Ice Cream Bars. Both were great, but the English Toffee Crunch bars are to die for!! Loved them both actually!
Flatout® Flatbread endorsed by Weight Watchers®
Flatout Flatbreads are a simple solution to creating quick, easy and tasty meals. These delicious flatbreads are HIGH in protein and fiber and low in carbs. Plus, they are a simple solution to creating quick, easy and tasty meals. I love using them in wraps for breakfast and lunch. They make great lunchmeat pinwheels, breakfast burritos, and fajitas. This morning, I made a bacon, egg and cheese breakfast burrito and it was so good. The flatbread is a little easier to use than tortillas because it has a unique rectangular shape that is easier to roll. Weight Watchers Endorsed Flatout® Flatbreads are all 2 – 4 SmartPoints® value per serving.
JOLLY TIME® Healthy Pop® Popcorn endorsed by Weight Watchers®
Jolly Time Popcorn offers 100 calorie packs for portion control that are non-GMO and gluten free. Plus, it’s the only popcorn that is endorsed by Weight Watchers® and is just 3 SmartPoints® value per serving. My family loves popcorn, so any excuse to give them a healthier version makes me a happy momma!
I LOVE that Weight Watchers gives you so many options to help you balance a healthy lifestyle. For this single mom, I have found that by pairing a few convenience foods with my favorite recipes its the perfect way to stay on track. In fact, this is just a small sample of the Weight Watchers® products available at Walmart. Vegetables have always been a zero point food, but recently over 200 additional foods were added to the zero points food list including skinless chicken breast, fish and seafood, whole eggs, corn and peas, many kinds of beans, and any and all fruit. So, by using a combination of zero point foods and Weight Watchers approved products from your local retailer, you have a recipe for success!!
