My kids just love this recipe! It also makes a great game day recipe.
Start by placing your chicken breast and a generous amount of vegetable oil (for frying) in a skillet.
Sprinkle the top of your chicken breast with seasoned salt.
Step by step:
Flip and repeat on the other side.
Heat up skillet on medium heat and begin browning your chicken.
Make sure chicken is cooked completely through, and slightly browned.
Place your cooked chicken in a food processor or mixing bowl.
Shred your chicken. If you choose the mixing bowl, shred chicken with a hand mixer or forks.
After chicken is shredded, add in BBQ sauce, brown sugar, honey, and a couple dashes of seasoned salt.
Mix all ingredients well.
Place on buns. You can add Cole Slaw as well.
Serve and enjoy!
Makes about 4 – 5 sandwiches.
This sounds like a delicious BBQ pulled chicken recipe! I am definitely going to have to try it, what a perfect recipe for summer. 🙂 Thanks for sharing!
This looks like something that my family would really enjoy! (I’m a longtime vegetarian 🙂 ). I like how there are’t many ingredients, and that it would make nice leftovers… that is, if there even are any!
